From Denny: With the mid-term election season in full swing here in America the cartoonists are all aglow with their latest opinions of how well or how poorly our politicians are doing their jobs.
Of course, the Republicans were furious that comedian Stephen Colbert appeared in testimony before Congress.
He went "in character" to mock Congress for their circus atmosphere. Funny thing is they sure didn't like getting mocked. It's OK when they dance like puppets for Big Business, Big Oil and Big Insurance but not to get mocked by Colbert - who isn't paying anything into their campaign coffers. Actually, Colbert was also there to call attention to migrant workers' rights - but Congress and the Republicans only focused upon "how dare he mock us for showing us to be the Bozos we truly are."
