From Denny: What a week this has been! The audacity of Republican Joe Barton - member not of the Grand Old Party but rather the Greed Over Principle party - who actually apologized publicly to BP at the Congressional hearing. The Cheshire Cat grin of BP CEO Tony Hayward was the weasel smile of a Big Business guy who got his money's worth from that politician. That sure was hard to watch, knowing we, the average voters, are currently powerless to do anything about corrupt politicians and corrupt Big Oil and Big Banks and Big Business taking apart this country piece by piece. Yeah, well, wait until November guys. There will be a lot of surprises. Already there is the rise of non-corporate Democrats stepping up to run for office like a guy in Colorado. Cartoonists have kept their pens busy giving their two cents worth about BP, the government's response, and how the Pelicans view this mess and disaster. Don't you just love it how BP CEO continues to try and paint himself as a victim? Is this guy an alcoholic or something? Typically, alcoholics use the sympathy drama to control others and this guy works that drama every chance he gets. And there are those General McChrystal cartoons I'm posting separately. Yeah, there are that many of them. :)See Cartoons by Cartoon by David Fitzsimmons - Courtesy of Politicalcartoons.com - Email this Cartoon
